Growing up in Iowa, the fourth of ten kids, Marty Hofmann was raised by the Golden rule found in the Bible.
It states: “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you…”
“Mom and Dad” Marty shares, “always reminded us to think of others and treat others as we wanted to be treated ourselves, as there were so many of us kids.” This principle is one which Marty and Ginger continue to strive for, today.
Marty and Ginger both met at a Bible College in Wyoming. Upon graduating and getting married, they moved to Montana. Here, Marty took a position as Youth Pastor and the two of them bought their first home.
Marty and Ginger have always loved real estate, and would often drive around and dream about different houses for sale. The Lord led them in 2010 to move from Montana, to Guthrie, Oklahoma, so that they could be closer to family. Ginger, being born and raised in Guthrie, was so happy to be back home. Her parents were in full time ministry as her dad was a pastor and camp director (Camp JOY), henceforth she was raised by the golden rule as well.
With their love for real estate, the desire to learn more about the flipping side on it was first and foremost. Therefore in 2010, Marty took a job at a local heat and air company where he became a journeyman. He learned the in’s and out of HVAC, and was able to be around new construction every day. Then, in 2014, Marty took a job flipping houses for an out of state investor, in an effort to learn more about real estate. Both of these jobs allowed Marty and Ginger to grow and understand more of real estate, and what goes into a home.
Marty and Ginger are raising six beautiful children, who now are learning about real estate, for themselves. Ginger is their full time homeschool teacher, and loves teaching the kids how to learn. Marty, being visionary, enjoys having the kids help out on different real estate tasks. Together they hope to help others with their real estate needs.
